“pulls you in right from the beginning”

According to Thorsen's Law, Elysen was not supposed to live. As a female child of a Lord, her fate was to die as soon as she was born. However, thanks to her father, who disobeyed the Law, Elysen was saved from death. She was believed to change the World and make things better. Not everyone liked Lord Vollen's decision and shortly after his death Elysen found herself on the run, trying to find help from other tribes. During her journey she meets a lot of people who influence her life and help her become a stronger person.

As a person who does not read a lot of fantasy books, I would definitely recommend "Elysen" to those who are just discovering this kind of literature. It's very smoothly written and pulls you in right at the beginning. I'm anxiously waiting for more books from this author.
